Allie & Marcs Wedding

June 6-9

OAXACA, MX

Our Story

Their first date stretched on for hours, conversation weaving between their shared love of exploration and the unlikely intersection of their worlds. But just as their connection deepened, Marc was set to start a new job in South America.

Instead of letting distance cut things short, Allie flew down to Argentina for two weeks on her birthday trip in Brazil. In Buenos Aires, they wandered through colorful streets, road-tripped through Bariloche, and found themselves falling into something much deeper.

By April 2023, Marc made a decision — one that surprised even him. He returned to Tel Aviv and simply… never left. The city became theirs: late-night strolls by the beach, lazy days in Jaffa, spontaneous road trips. They built a rhythm of their own, blending traditions and cultures into something uniquely theirs.

Then, the world around them shifted. October 7th, 2023. War broke out in Israel the day before they were set to fly home. With uncertainty hanging over everything, they pivoted moving to Copenhagen for a few months for Marc’s work. They traded Mediterranean sun for crisp Scandinavian air, café mornings, and a slower, quieter pace. But the short days and the hygge lifestyle never quite fit. By February 2024, they knew where they needed to be. Together, they packed suitcases once more and set off for Buenos Aires "just for a few months."

Buenos Aires has a way of pulling people in. The city became home again with long dinners that start at 10 PM, Argentinian rock, Fernet — life has a rhythm here, unpredictable but intoxicating. They found themselves staying much longer than planned.

Then came October 2024, on a last-minute trip in Oaxaca, Marc, under hum of a city alive with music and color, asked Allie to marry him with a 20-peso engagement ring that he bought the night before in an artisanal tourist shop.

In April 2025, they’ll honor tradition with a small religious ceremony in Jaffa, Israel where it all began. And in June 2025, they’ll return to Oaxaca, the place of their engagement, to celebrate with friends and family. A wedding that mirrors the life they’ve built: vibrant, full of movement, shaped by the places and people they love.

From Tel Aviv to Buenos Aires, Copenhagen to Oaxaca, their love stitched together by planes, time zones, and the unwavering choice to keep saying yes—to adventure, to each other, to a life with no borders.
